Deposit/payment

For all bookings I require a non-refundable booking fee/deposit to secure your event makeup, lesson or wedding date. This fee/deposit will be held against your booking and then deducted from your final invoice.

Your wedding date is only confirmed upon payment of your 20% non-refundable booking fee which is to be made 48 hours of receiving payment details. Lessons and event makeup is only confirmed upon payment which is to be paid 24 hours of receiving payment details.

Wedding invoice payment is due 14 days prior to your wedding date via bank transfer. This must be paid prior to your wedding date for services to proceed.

Cancellations/changes

The booking fee/deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

There must be no services deducted from the original invoice, only added. I will try my best to accommodate any additional services you require. Please allow 14 days before your wedding date to make any final additions so I have enough time to update your schedule. If any additions are made on the day that can be accommodated, they must be paid for up front via cash or EFTPOS.

Please notify and location or time changes as soon as possible, these may affect the price or your travel fee.

If you wish to cancel your services with By Ellen Violet, your booking fee is non-refundable. Once final payment has been made, that is also non-refundable if for any reason you are not able to receive service.

In the unlikely event I become unwell or an unable to perform your wedding services, I will contact you and arrange another reliable artist to look after you or refund your payment.

Trials

Trials are not compulsory but are highly recommended. I will allow up to 1.5 hours for your makeup trial, so we have time for minor adjustments. Please let me know of any changes you would like on the day of your trial or in a follow up email. Your trial is $160 and is not included in your wedding package.

travel/parking fees

All wedding bookings will incur a travel fee dependent on distance. If the hotel you are getting ready in has paid parking, the charges will be passed onto the client. If there is no suitable parking onsite, please organise appropriate offsite and let me know.

Photos/content

I may use your photographs and/or videos on my website, social media and promotional material. Please let me know if do not wish to do so.

allergies and requirements

It is your responsibility to let me know of any allergies or sensitivities yourself or your bridal party has before your wedding day. If this is not presented to me beforehand, I am not responsible for any reactions that may occur. I must be informed of any contagious illness including, but not limited to, gastro, conjunctivitis, cold sores, open wounds on face and cysts. I have the right to refuse service if I feel necessary.

By booking with By Ellen Violet, you are acknowledging and release all responsibility and liability if such situations above arise. Payment of the booking fee binds the client of this document.

CLIENT UNDERDSTANDS THAT PAYING THE BOOKINGS FEE CONFIRMS THAT YOU HAVE READ TO THE ABOVE DOCUMENT AND ARE LEGALLY BOUND.
